Over the past few years, we have had a few clients that have expressed frustrations with Management Reporter and FRx. Often this frustration was due to formatting limitations or the extensive maintenance required on the rows, columns, and trees. At times, these products can be counterintuitive and unenjoyable to use, especially compared to Microsoft Excel, which is second nature to many of our clients. That is why we were excited to discover a product called Solver BI360, which offers Excel-based reporting which can replace FRx and Management Reporter.
Our team is now trained and has worked with clients to convert these old reporting packages into BI360 Excel-based reports. The Excel add-in allows users to adjust parameters and launch reports directly from Excel. The data is maintained in such a way that greatly reduces manual updates and maintenance of report definitions. The drilldown feature is also much more advanced than what is offered by FRx and Management Reporter.
The product is really impressive to see in action, so we have asked Solver to put on quick, high-level demo for our clients.
