The survey (below) was requested in August 2024 by Anchor to our clients in response to specific target emails from various sources - even trusted sources 'alerting' you of false news that Dynamics GP is 'going away,'

Microsoft will provide regulatory updates, security updates, and hotfixes until at least 2028.
Anchor Group response – Microsoft Dynamics GP is part of the Microsoft Modern Lifecycle policy, all products including Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) are supported thru 2028. This does NOT mean it will end in 2028, to the contrary we believe it could be 10 or more years to come.

Microsoft says it will support GP customers under the Microsoft Modern Lifecycle policy through 2028.
Anchor Group response – Each year it should be extended, so next year it will be 2029, and so forth. Even when they say it will not be supported you have at least 3-4 years to plan next steps. The base technology i.e. the SQL server and Window’s desktop are what matters.
We also have a recent survey to share with you carried out by DynamicsCon surveying Dynamics GP customers and 3rd party partners. This is a survey that comes from a group of Dynamics GP users and Partners at a recent Dynamics GP event, proving Microsoft will continue to perform updates and support, and 3rd party partners will continue to create Dynamics GP fixes and remain current AND forward thinking.
